“Books, books, books, I love books, hundreds of books, thousands of books,
millions, and billions, and trillions of books.”
by: Isaac V.
As the holidays snuck up on me, and I am still getting the hang of posting here on Nurturing Hearts at Home, this post was meant for the fall months even though winter has just begun.
Hope you enjoy these great reads with your little ones!! So here ya go! =)
The weather in California where I live has finally decided to present fall to us. I just love it when the weather starts to get cooler. I love the coziness, that comes with it. Snuggling in warm blankets, drinking hot cocoa, baking, sweaters, scarves, and boots. When it is time to read the boys get so excited, especially when they see me in the kitchen making hot cocoa for us to enjoy during story time. Oh the joy when I see their smiling faces and the anticipation of story time. I just love to read to them!
I love it when we cozy up all together on the couch and read, read, read….
This is what we have been reading for the little ones. Repetition is key. The little ones just love to hear the same stories over and over. Even though you may tire of reading the same book over and over, just keep telling yourself that it is building their vocabulary and memorization. You will be so amazed!
