Remembering our country’s Independence and Thankful to all those brave men and women that serve

and have served in the military to protect our country.

Have a wonderful, safe and fun time celebrating with your loved ones!

Here are a couple of things that our family does for the Fourth of July:

Everyday until the week of the Fourth of July and there after.

The children and I recite the “Pledge of Allegiance”,  by Francis Bellamy.

Then there are some books I read,

“The Pledge of Allegiance” by Scholastic, that has beautiful pictures of our country and the other is

“The Star-Spangled Banner” by: Francis Scott Key, then we sing it out loud.

We also sing, “America the Beautiful” by Katharine Lee Bates. Then I read the book,

“America the Beautiful” by Scholastic”.

To celebrate our Family will be going to a firework show the night before the fourth,

which has been a family tradition now for about 3yrs.

Then on the day of the Fourth we like to have a picnic or BBQ at home or go to Grandma and Grandpa’s.

What are some things you and your family do for the Fourth of July?

In His Love,

Rachel
